Edition 2025 — Assunta and Ferragosto in Peschici

In 2025, Peschici once again celebrated the Madonna dell'Assunta and San Rocco on August 15th, the religious heart of the Gargano Ferragosto. The evening procession from the Mother Church, accompanied by the city band, wound through the historic center crowded with residents and tourists, while late-night fireworks over the harbor brought the festive day to a beautiful close.

Ferragosto 2025 in Peschici

The 2025 edition of the Assunta and San Rocco celebrations confirmed the vitality of a centuries-old tradition in the Gargano village. On the evening of August 15th, the procession departed from the Mother Church with the statues carried through the alleys of the historic center, accompanied by the brass band and a large procession of the faithful.

The day, part of the summer calendar of the Municipality of Peschici, concluded with a fireworks display over the harbor, watched by thousands of people between the marina and the town's viewpoints. A Ferragosto of faith, music, and sea that attracted residents and tourists to one of the most popular destinations on the Gargano coast.
