Madonna dell'Arco and Saint John the Baptist Feast – Pilgrimage to Monte Sambuco

Monday, May 5th — Madonna dell'Arco

The festival opened at 8:00 AM with fireworks officially announcing the start of the festivities. In the afternoon, at 6:00 PM, the solemn procession with the statue of the Madonna crossed the historic center, followed at 7:00 PM by the solemn Holy Mass and, at 9:00 PM, by a musical show in the square.

Tuesday, May 6th — Saint John the Baptist and Monte Sambuco

On the morning of May 6th, after the 8:30 AM Holy Mass and the procession with the saint's statue, the traditional pilgrimage on foot towards Monte Sambuco began at 9:30 AM, accompanied by allegorical floats and devotees. Upon arrival, around 12:30 PM, the Eucharistic celebration was held at the chapel. In the evening, at 9:30 PM, a tribute to Jovanotti took place in Piazza della Libertà, followed at midnight by the fireworks display.
