Madonna dell'Aiuto Festival

In 2025, the Madonna dell'Aiuto Festival in Roccafiorita took place following the established rite. After the statue's ascent to the Mount Kalfa sanctuary on May 24th, the main festival in late August saw the Agrò Valley village come alive with three days of celebrations.

The Friday procession accompanied the statue from the parish church to the sanctuary on the summit, where the first solemn mass was celebrated; on Saturday, the procession around the mountain took place with the evocative evening candlelight vigil; on Sunday, the statue was brought back to the village for the solemn mass and the procession through the town center, with the Stations of the Cross and fireworks closing the festivities. The event, included in the calendar of Marian festivals of the Agrò Valley and Chiodaro area, confirmed its strong identity value for the community of Roccafiorita, in the province of Messina.
