Edition 2025 — Madonna del Tufo
How it went in 2025
The festival opened on August 8, 2025, with the novena, celebrated daily at 5:30 PM until August 16th. On Sunday, August 10th, the evening featured a musical tribute to Giorgia at 7:00 PM, and at 8:00 PM, the performance in the local Rocchigiano dialect «Rocca di Papa al tempo di Leonida Montinari» by Rita Gatta and Mario Giovanetti.
On Saturday, August 16th, from 7:30 PM, there were theatrical monologues, followed at 8:30 PM by performances and dances by the Emy Dance Academy. Sunday, August 17th, was the main day: at 6:30 AM, the traditional procession from the Duomo dell'Assunta to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Tufo, followed by Masses at 7:00, 9:00, and 11:00 AM, and at 6:00 PM, the solemn Mass presided over by Bishop Stefano Russo. The evening continued at 7:30 PM with a musical show and at 8:00 PM with dance performances, until the closing at 10:00 PM with a song for peace and the release of glowing prayers into the sky. The «Dolce&Salato» food stall remained active throughout the festivities.
