The 2025 festival in four days

From October 4 to 7, 2025, Terlizzi celebrated its Protectress with a rich civil and religious program. Saturday, October 4th, saw the opening with a blood donation day in Piazza Cavour, the arrival of the Bersaglieri Fanfare, the lighting of the illuminations, and the solemn procession of the statue towards the San Michele Arcangelo Co-Cathedral.

Sunday, October 5th, featured the Solemn Pontifical Mass presided over by H.E. Bishop Domenico Cornacchia, followed by the procession with the handing over of the city keys to the Madonna by the Mayor. In the evening, in Piazza Cavour, the grand concert of the Orchestra all'italiana with a tribute to Renzo Arbore.

Monday, October 6th, marked the departure of the 'Maria among the Flowers of Paradise' floral float, designed by architect Giuseppe Volpe, the symphonic concert, and the grand finale of fireworks on Via Chicoli. The fair along Corso Garibaldi and Corso Dante accompanied the entire weekend.

Saturday, October 4

• 08:00 — Fireworks; 08:30 Eucharistic celebration at the Church of the Madonna del Rosario; blood donation in Piazza Cavour
• 17:00 — Opening of the fair on Corso Garibaldi and Corso Dante
• 18:15 — Arrival of the Bersaglieri Fanfare in Piazza Cavour; 19:00 lighting of the illuminations
• 20:00 — Fireworks and solemn procession towards the San Michele Arcangelo Co-Cathedral; dance school performance
• 21:45 — Grecanico-Salentino music concert with the Ionica Aranea ensemble

Sunday, October 5

• 08:30 — Fanfare and band processions through the city; arrival of the Gran Concerto Bandistico of Rutigliano
• 09:30 — Solemn Pontifical Mass presided over by Bishop Domenico Cornacchia
• 11:00 — Fireworks; 11:15 procession with the handing over of the city keys to the Madonna by the Mayor
• 20:30 — Grand concert of the Orchestra all'italiana — Renzo Arbore Tribute in Piazza Cavour

Monday, October 6

• 18:30 — Solemn Mass with the Jubilaeum Choir
• 19:30 — Fireworks and departure of the 'Maria among the Flowers of Paradise' floral float (arch. Giuseppe Volpe)
• 20:00 — Grand symphonic concert in Piazza Cavour; 23:00 final firework display on Via Chicoli

Tuesday, October 7

• Concluding Holy Masses; band processions; 20:00 theatrical fountain show
