Madonna del Rosario Festival

2025 Edition

The Madonna del Rosario Festival in Lucoli (L'Aquila) was held on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17, 2025. The first day opened with Holy Mass in the Abbey of San Giovanni Battista, followed by an open-air screening of the film Un mondo a parte, an opportunity to gather under the summer sky of the Abruzzo mountains.

Sunday featured the traditional wake-up call by the Ji Briganti brass band, Holy Mass, and a procession through the streets of Lucoli Alto and Vado Lucoli. The afternoon included games for children and adults and food stalls, while the evening was enlivened by a concert by Folkavacca and a DJ set, featuring folk music and dancing in the square.
