Madonna del Rosario Fair

The 69th edition of the Madonna del Rosario Fair enlivened Giurdignano, in the province of Lecce, on the weekend of October 4th and 5th, 2025. Faithful to its long history, the event confirmed the formula that makes it one of the most beloved autumn appointments in Salento.

Over the two days, the stalls set up around Largo Madonna del Rosario offered boiled, grilled, and wild chicory-infused peasant pork, along with herb-scented porchetta. On Sunday morning, the town hosted the historic livestock and agricultural tool fair, while the evenings concluded with Salento folk music and dancing in the square. A festival that, even in 2025, combined devotion, rural tradition, and conviviality.
