Edition 2025 — Madonna del Rifugio

In 2025, Vico del Gargano once again celebrated its Patron Saint, the Madonna del Rifugio, in the final days of June. As per tradition, the festival combined the solemn Novena in the Mother Church, the Solemn Mass, the Act of Consecration with the presentation of the City Keys, and the Procession through the alleys of the historic center, alongside the secular and convivial moments that animate the Gargano village during the patronal festivities.

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Rifugio Festival renewed the appointment with the town's Patron Saint in Vico del Gargano. In keeping with tradition, the festivities opened with the solemn Novena in the Mother Church, marked each evening by the Holy Rosary, Litanies, and the Eucharistic Celebration.

On the day of the Solemnity, the community gathered around the Madonna with the Solemn Mass, the traditional band parade, and the evocative ritual of presenting the City Keys, a prelude to the Procession through the village streets. The evenings in Piazza Castello, featuring music, wines, and local Gargano products, completed a deeply popular and well-attended festival.
