Madonna del Furi Feast and Virgineddi Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Furi Feast in Cinisi confirmed the vitality of a centuries-old tradition. After the evening candlelight procession toward the Sanctuary, the final day brought the faithful together for solemn religious celebrations and the Virgineddi Festival, with the distribution of homemade pasta with fava beans.

The festive atmosphere was enlivened by the A Tunnara Folk Group and the Tamburinari Le Perle del Mediterraneo. The Mayor of Cinisi, Vera Abbate, expressed her gratitude to the rector of the Sanctuary, Father Antonio Ortoleva, and all the volunteers who made the event possible, in a spirit of tradition, faith, and local flavors.
