Madonna del Carmine Feast 2025 in Casamassima

The 2025 patronal feast opened on Saturday, July 26 with Eucharistic celebrations at the Church of Purgatorio (6:00 AM and 8:00 AM) and the solemn 10:30 AM celebration with the offering of candles to the Madonna by the Municipal Administration, presided over by Monsignor Giovanni Ricchiuti. At noon, the procession of the Sacred Image took place, featuring the rite of handing over the "Keys of the City" to the Patroness by Mayor Giuseppe Nitti at Porta Orologio.

Sunday, July 27 featured masses at the Church of Purgatorio (7:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 6:00 PM) and, at 7:00 PM, the final procession through the town streets. On the civic side, the "Grand Brass Band Concert" by the City of Bisceglie band, conducted by Maestro Biagio Abbate, performed on Saturday, and the Municipal Concert of Francavilla Fontana performed on Sunday, with the "Tommaso Traetta" band of Bitonto playing on both days. The festival closed with the grand fireworks display around midnight in Largo Fellini, preceded on Saturday evening by the evocative launch of the hot-air balloon.
