Madonna del Carmine Festival

The 2025 edition of the festivities in honor of the Madonna del Carmine in Putignano was organized, as per tradition, between religious rites and secular events. The novena prepared the community for the solemnity, which culminated in the main celebration on Sunday and the day of thanksgiving on Monday, with the procession accompanied by the "Vito Semeraro" band and illuminations lighting up the churchyard of the Church of the Carmine.

The secular program enlivened the center of Putignano with concerts and shows, including performances by groups such as Le Stelle di Hokuto and the Rimbamband, along with tournaments (including the Buraco tournament) and the inevitable food stalls with Apulian specialties. A well-attended edition that confirmed the festival as one of the most cherished summer events for the city.
