Madonna del Carmine Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Carmine Festival in Andrano took place on Sunday, July 20, in accordance with the tradition that places the event on the third Sunday of July. As every year, the community of the Salento village gathered around the cult of the Virgin of Mount Carmel with Holy Masses and the procession of the statue through the streets of the historic center.

In 2025, the religious festival was once again accompanied by the popular and convivial dimension that characterizes the Marian celebrations of Salento, with illuminations decorating the village streets and the participation of residents and visitors. An event deeply felt in Andrano, in the province of Lecce, which confirms year after year the community's bond with its religious and cultural identity.
