Madonna del Carmine Feast and Lake Luminaria

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Carmine Feast in Cannero Riviera took place on the usual mid-July weekend, with the patronal festival celebrated on Sunday, July 13, and Monday, July 14.

In 2025, the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola village once again renewed its most beloved tradition: the procession with the statue of the Madonna del Carmine along the streets of the historic center and, at dusk, the Luminaria sul Lago with thousands of floating candles resting on the waters of Lake Maggiore. The spectacle of the small flames gliding on the water confirmed Cannero Riviera as one of the most evocative summer settings on the lake.
