Madonna del Carmine and Santa Marina Feast – Sagra te li Paniri

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 festival took place in Miggiano from July 16th to 18th. After the novena that began on July 7th in the chapels of Santa Marina and the Madonna del Carmine, the July 16th solemnity of the Madonna del Carmine culminated in the grand procession through the town streets. On July 17th, dedicated to Santa Marina, mass was held at Largo Santa Marina followed by the procession, alongside the Sagra te li Paniri with its artisan basket stands. On July 18th, the day of thanksgiving concluded with fireworks.

The civil program in Piazza Municipio featured concerts by the "Città di Miggiano", "Città di Manduria", and "Città di Racale" bands with a lyrical-symphonic gala, as well as dance evenings, pizzica, and folk music.

July 16 — Madonna del Carmine

• 08:30 and 10:30 — Holy masses
• 19:30 — Grand procession through the town streets
• 22:00 — Concert by the "Città di Miggiano" Band; Bailando Orchestra with group dances, pizzica, and folk in Piazza Municipio

July 17 — Santa Marina and Sagra te li Paniri

• 08:30 and 10:30 — Holy masses
• 19:00 — Mass at Largo Santa Marina
• 20:00 — Procession toward the Chapel of the Madonna del Carmine
• Sagra te li Paniri: basket stands and local Salento products
• 22:00 — Concert by the "Città di Manduria" Band; disco with Le Chicche Sfiziose

July 18 — Thanksgiving

• 08:30 — Transport of the statues to the Mother Church
• 19:30 — Concluding procession and return to the chapels
• 21:00 — Fireworks (MILA area)
• 22:00 — Lyrical-symphonic gala by the "Città di Racale" Band with maestro Anna Ciaccia in Piazza Municipio
