2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Carmelo Festival took place in Caltavuturo, in the province of Palermo, according to the tradition of the third Sunday of July, around the 16th of the month. This year again, the Venerable Confraternity of Maria SS. del Carmelo, the oldest in the village, organized the festivities based at the Church of Santa Maria la Nova.

The week of preparation included religious services with preaching, the recitation of the rosary, and Eucharistic celebrations accompanied by music. The highlight was the solemn procession of the statue of the Madonna del Carmelo along the streets of the historic center, amidst the devotion of the faithful and the accompaniment of the brass band, confirming the community's strong bond with its patroness of artisans.
