2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Madonna del Canneto Festival and Fair took place in Giuliano di Lecce, a village of Castrignano del Capo, on July 1st and 2nd. As per a centuries-old tradition, religious celebrations in honour of the Madonna were combined with the historic fair dedicated to the countryside and rural life.
Stalls featuring typical Salento products, local handicrafts, and agricultural items lined the streets of the village, while festive lights and a brass band accompanied the festive evenings. The event reaffirmed its role as a defining appointment for the Capo di Leuca community.
