Edition 2025 — Pulsano Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the Pulsano Patronal Feast took place from September 6th to 8th, organized by the Santa Maria La Nova Parish in collaboration with the Municipality. Alongside the religious program, which culminated in the procession on September 8th and the concelebration presided over by Monsignor Francesco Neri, Archbishop of Otranto, the civil festivities in Piazza Castello offered folk shows, live music, a concert by the municipal band, and the traditional final fireworks display.

The 2025 Patronal Feast of the Madonna dei Martiri and Saint Tryphon was celebrated in Pulsano from Friday, September 6th, to Monday, September 8th, under the direction of the Santa Maria La Nova Parish, led by Father Davide Errico, and with the collaboration of the Municipality. The handing over of the city keys to the patron saints took place on Sunday, September 7th, by Mayor Pietro D'Alfonso, while on Monday the 8th, the solemn procession passed through the streets of the center, followed by the Eucharistic concelebration presided over by Monsignor Francesco Neri, Archbishop of Otranto.

On the civil front, Piazza Castello hosted three evenings of entertainment: from the folklore of the Danzanima group to the live music of Vega 80, from the concert of the Banana's Republiq Band to the performances of the Euterpe-Città di Pulsano grand band, ending with the final fireworks display. Completing the atmosphere were artistic illuminations and food stalls featuring typical Apulian flavors.

  • 7:00 PM — Holy Mass with the handing over of the city keys to the patron saints by Mayor Pietro D'Alfonso
  • 9:30 PM — Concert by the Banana's Republiq Band in Piazza Castello

Monday, September 8, 2025

  • 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM — Holy Masses
  • 5:00 PM — Solemn celebration of Vespers
  • 5:30 PM — Procession of the effigies through the town streets (Chiesa, Luogovivo, Villanova, Vittorio Veneto, XX Settembre, Amendola, Dante, San Francesco, Roma, Costantinopoli)
  • 8:00 PM — Eucharistic concelebration presided over by Monsignor Francesco Neri, Archbishop of Otranto
  • During the day — Performances by the Euterpe-Città di Pulsano grand band (directed by Maestro Francesco Bolognino)
  • 9:30 PM — Band performance in the square
  • Following — Fireworks display by the company Di Matteo Events
