Madonna d'Anglona Celebrations – Lucanian Community

The 2025 edition of the Madonna d'Anglona Celebrations renewed the tradition of the Lucanian community's festival in Cornigliano, in western Genoa. At the Giardini Melis, amidst stalls of Lucanian specialties and musical evenings, the district experienced days of celebration and conviviality.

As every year, the most heartfelt moment was the procession through the streets of the district, with the Confraternities, the Filarmonica Cornigliano, and the Gruppo Storico Sestrese, and the solemn Mass at the parish church of San Giacomo, organized by A.P.S. dei Lucani a Genova.
