The festival opened at 4:00 PM with the announcement marked by firecracker shots. At 8:00 PM, the Vigil Holy Mass was held, followed at 9:00 PM by an evening of entertainment with performances by Brollywood Dance, ASD Olympic Brolo, and Dream Dance Alice, along with live music and ballroom dancing. Food stalls, including "Ritrovo da Ciro" with their sausage, eggplant, and onion sandwich, and "Le Crêpes di Titty," enlivened the district.

The morning, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, was marked by firecrackers, Holy Masses, and the tour of the S. Cecilia Musical Band of Ficarra. In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, the traditional "Gioco dei Pignateddi" took place. At 6:00 PM, the procession with the image of the Virgin of Sorrows, the spiritual heart of the festival, began. The evening, starting at 9:00 PM, featured the maccheroni festival, street games, children's entertainment, and dance, culminating in the grand finale: the pyrotechnic show at midnight, managed by the company New Fireworks Eventi.
