Madonie Traditional and Ancient Vegetables Festival

The 18th edition of the Madonie Traditional and Ancient Vegetables Festival was held in Isnello on April 5 and 6, 2025, enlivening the historic center of the Madonie village in the province of Palermo.

Saturday, April 5 opened with a countryside excursion to discover wild herbs and vegetables with Prof. Rosario Schicchi, followed by the panel discussion "Wild vegetables: benefits and opportunities", a live cooking show with chef Antonella Di Garbo, and in the evening, a music and cabaret show with comedian Stefano Piazza in Piazza Mazzini.

Sunday, April 6, the historic center hosted cooking shows by the Slow Food branch with local chefs, folk dances by the "Terrazzani" Cultural Center, medieval and fire games by the Compagnia Batarnù, and the Dixie Kings marching band, with tastings along the Corso Vittorio Emanuele stalls.
