Edition 2025 — Madonie Carnival

In 2025, the Madonie Carnival celebrated its 50th edition, a special milestone marked in Castellana Sicula on Sunday, March 2. The grand parade of allegorical floats and masquerade groups departed at 3:00 PM from Via Monte San Salvatore, enlivening the streets and squares of the town with music, dancing, and an explosion of colors for the event's fiftieth anniversary.

The 2025 edition marked a historic milestone: the 50th edition of the Madonie Carnival, celebrated in Castellana Sicula on Sunday, March 2, 2025. For the occasion, the program was enriched with a series of initiatives dedicated to the fifty years of the festival.

The parade of allegorical floats and masquerade groups departed at 3:00 PM from Via Monte San Salvatore, filling the main street of the town up to Piazza San Francesco di Paola, where music and dancing enlivened the entire day. Among the side events, the opening of a historical exhibition dedicated to the Madonie Carnival and the "Carnival Night" with a DJ set in Piazza Vittoria.
