Edition 2025 — Made in Sicily

The 2025 edition of Made in Sicily took place from September 11th to 13th in Aci Sant'Antonio (CT), featuring three evenings dedicated to Sicilian culture and folklore in Piazza Maggiore and the town center. Organized by the Pro Loco with the support of the Municipality, the festival featured the Opera dei Pupi, a parade of Sicilian carts accompanied by folk groups in costume, and a concert by the band I Beddi. Free admission.

The 2025 program

The 2025 edition of Made in Sicily was held from September 11th to 13th in Aci Sant'Antonio, in the province of Catania, with three evening events in the heart of the town.

  • Thursday, September 11th, 7:30 PM — Piazza Maggiore: Opera dei Pupi, one of the most recognizable symbols of traditional Sicilian culture, recounting the deeds of the paladins of France.
  • Friday, September 12th, 6:30 PM — Town center: The colorful parade of hand-painted Sicilian carts, accompanied by folk groups in costume with dances, songs, and traditional instruments.
  • Saturday, September 13th, 9:00 PM — Piazza Maggiore: Concert by I Beddi, one of the most acclaimed bands in contemporary Sicilian folk music, featuring storytelling, ballads, and tarantellas with a modern twist.

All events were free to attend, confirming the festival's popular and identity-driven vocation in the city of the Sicilian cart.
