2025 Edition
The 4th edition of the Maccarruna cu sucu Festival was held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, starting at 8:30 PM, in the Gaglio-Cavarretta square in the Gaglio district of Sant'Agata di Militello. The festival served as the highlight of the celebrations for Maria Santissima Immacolata, honored in the district on August 12 and 13.
The stars of the evening were the maccheroni dressed with tomato sauce, served according to tradition, accompanied by musical entertainment by Giuseppe Macaione. The previous evening, August 12, offered a more informal gathering with pane cunzatu, mortadella sandwiches, and draft beer, as well as inflatables for children, in a double evening dedicated to tradition and taste.
