Edition 2025 — Maccagno Carnival

In 2025, the Maccagno Carnival once again enlivened Piazza Vittorio Veneto with workshops, traditional risotto, entertainment, and a costume contest, in a celebration dedicated to the families and children of the lakeside village on Lake Maggiore.

The Maccagno Carnival is the festival that annually brings confetti and cheer to the station area of Maccagno with Pino and Veddasca, on Lake Maggiore. In 2025, Piazza Vittorio Veneto once again hosted the event dedicated to families and children, featuring creative workshops, the traditional Carnival risotto, music, entertainment, and the unmissable costume contest. Organised by Pro Loco Maccagno - Lago Maggiore, the event confirmed its popular and family-friendly spirit, offering a day of celebration to both adults and children in the province of Varese.
