MA/IN 2025 — Ninth Edition, "Out of Memory [OOM]"

The ninth edition of the MA/IN Festival, held from September 25 to 29, 2025, brought together Castrignano de' Greci and Lecce, with KORA - Centro del Contemporaneo as the main venue and, in the city, the Teatro Paisiello and the "Tito Schipa" Conservatory. Curated by Giulio Colangelo together with Vittorio Montalti and Cesare Saldicco, the event revolved around the theme "Out of Memory [OOM]".

Among the most anticipated moments were the audiovisual performance ECLIPSE by the Franco-Japanese duo NONOTAK (Noemi Schipfer and Takami Nakamoto), performing in Lecce for the first time, and the evening at KORA featuring installations and concerts by artists selected through an international open call. Organized by LOXOSconcept APS with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the edition confirmed the festival as a reference point for experimental music in Salento.

Highlights of the 2025 edition

• September 25 — KORA, Castrignano de' Greci: opening with sound installations and concerts by selected artists (admission €3).
• September 27, 9:00 PM — Lecce: NONOTAK [FR/JP] with the audiovisual performance ECLIPSE.
• September 29, 11:00 AM — "Tito Schipa" Conservatory, Lecce: talk-concert by Giacomo Fronzi, "PLAY~ il performativo in musica [vol.1]" (free admission).
