Edition 2025 — Lumacata di Fabbriche
In 2025, the Lumacata di Fabbriche once again enlivened the hilly hamlet of Voltri with its historic snail festival. Featuring grilled dishes, wood-fired pizzas, musical evenings, and a lottery, the festival founded in 1959 confirmed its role as a beloved summer event in the Genoese hinterland.
The 2025 edition of the Lumacata di Fabbriche renewed the tradition of the historic snail festival in Fabbriche di Voltri, in western Genoa. The traditional recipe snails, along with grilled meat and wood-fired pizzas, attracted a large crowd.
With live music evenings and a lottery, the festival confirmed the warmth and conviviality that have made it one of the most beloved events in the Ligurian hinterland for over sixty years.
