Edition 2025 — Luglio Musicale Trapanese
The 77th season: "VeRBi"
The 2025 edition of the Luglio Musicale Trapanese revolved around the acronym "VeRBi", which referenced the three composers featured in the opera season — Verdi, Rossini, and Bizet — and the themes of integration, humanity, and courage. The festival took place from June 5 to December 30 in the main cultural venues of Trapani.
The Operas
The opera season at the Teatro Giuseppe Di Stefano featured Il trovatore by Verdi (July 11 and 13), L'italiana in Algeri by Rossini (July 23 and 25), and Carmen by Bizet (August 1 and 3). The overall program brought together operas, a dozen concerts, dance performances, and special events, hosted between the Teatro Di Stefano, the Complesso San Domenico, and the Teatro Tonino Pardo, confirming the festival's role as a landmark event of the cultural summer in Trapani, Sicily.
