Ludika 1243 — 25th edition

From July 3 to 6, 2025, Ludika 1243 celebrated the milestone of its twenty-fifth edition, bringing the San Pellegrino district of Viterbo back to the atmosphere of the 13th century. Four days of street theatre, jesters' performances, early music, ancient crafts, and a medieval market, along with sword and archery arenas, street games, and live-action role-playing games curated by the APS La Tana degli Orchi.

The highlight was on Sunday, July 6: at 6 PM, the costumed pageant, accompanied by musicians, departed from Piazza San Carluccio towards Valle Faul, where participants, divided into Guelphs and Ghibellines, re-enacted the attempted siege of Viterbo by Frederick II by capturing the opposing banner. The festival, with free admission, was accompanied by Giokeria, the festival dedicated to board and card games.
