Lucignano Music Festival 2025 — "War and Peace"

The 5th edition of the Lucignano Music Festival was held from September 17 to 21, 2025, with the theme "War and Peace", a reflection on the social role of art in moments of crisis, exploring human emotions such as memory, silence, beauty, and hope.

The resident ensemble brought together internationally renowned musicians: in addition to artistic director Irene Abrigo (violin) and co-founder Jürg Dähler (viola), clarinetist Tommaso Lonquich, cellist and conductor Daniel Blendulf, and pianists Alessandra Ammara and Roberto Prosseda performed. The program included works by Schubert, Mozart, Mahler, Messiaen, and Schumann, paired with thematic titles inspired by art related to war and peace.

Concerts took place in the 14th-century Church of San Francesco and the Teatro Rosini, with side events such as the "Rhythms of Freedom" appointments on September 20, dedicated to Swing, Lindy Hop, and dance, in Lucignano (Arezzo), Tuscany.
