Lucchese Rovellina Festival

The first edition of the Lucchese Rovellina Festival took place from June 27th to 29th, 2025, in Sant'Angelo in Campo, a village of Lucca, at the skating rink next to the parish church. The debut of the festival, promoted by the Misericordia di Lucca with the patronage of the City of Lucca, offered three evenings with food stalls opening at 7:00 PM.

On the menu was the Lucchese rovellina, slices of breaded and fried meat simmered in tomato sauce with capers and spices, along with rosticciana, mixed grilled meat, vegetables, and vegetarian dishes, with takeaway service. The evenings were accompanied by music and DJ sets, featuring Steve Martin, David Togni, and Save DJ & Ricca Voice. All proceeds were donated to the Misericordia's social projects.
