The year of record numbers

The 2025 edition of the campaign promoted by AMA in collaboration with TGR Lazio marked the best result since the initiative's launch. With over 500 appointments distributed throughout the year - against 160 in 2023 - the service has become truly widespread, reaching all districts of Rome Capital on a rotating basis.

The balance sheet speaks of approximately 6,800 tons of materials collected and sent for recovery, against 4,959 tons in 2024 and 2,066 in 2023. The composition tells a lot about the habits of Romans: over 4,300 tons of bulky waste, 1,300 tons of wood, and more than 800 tons of WEEE.

The stations, active on Saturday and Sunday mornings, also welcomed used clothing, textile products, and clothing accessories, in addition to garden waste and prunings on Saturdays. The increased frequency of appointments has strengthened the bond between the company and the neighborhoods, contributing to reducing the abandonment of bulky items on the Capital's streets.
