Edition 2025 — Lost Knowledge

Before the debut of "Lost Knowledge" in 2026, the cultural life of Germagnano in 2025 was expressed primarily through the town's religious and community traditions, from the patronal feast of San Grato to events linked to the Sanctuary of Sant'Ignazio. It is precisely these roots of farming memory and popular devotion that paved the way for the Municipality's inclusion in the Valli di Lanzo Festival of Knowledge network.

In 2025, Germagnano, in the Valli di Lanzo (Metropolitan City of Turin), lived its identity primarily through local traditions: the patronal feast of San Grato and events linked to the nearby Sanctuary of Sant'Ignazio, a destination for pilgrimages involving the town and its hamlets. These are the "knowledge" and gestures handed down from generation to generation that, the following year, found a shared framework in the Festival of Knowledge promoted by the Unione Montana Valli di Lanzo, Ceronda e Casternone. The 2025 edition therefore represents the natural prelude to the debut of "Lost Knowledge" in 2026, in the Castagnole hamlet.
