Long Night of the Churches in Novi Ligure

On Friday, June 6, 2025, Novi Ligure joined the Long Night of the Churches with free guided tours from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, on the theme "Embrace Me".

At the Pieve, Andrea Scotto illustrated a 1474 fresco by Manfredino Bosilio, commissioned by the noblewoman Oriana di Campofregoso, along with illustrious burials and episodes of devotion linked to the city. At the Oratorio di Santa Maria Maddalena, the protagonists were the Renaissance sculptural groups of the Crucifixion and the Deposition, capable of conveying embraces and gazes full of intensity. The initiative was curated by the cultural office of the Diocese of Tortona together with the Pieve parish and the Confraternity of Santa Maria Maddalena and the Most Holy Crucifix.
