Locorotondo Christmas – The Village of Wonders

The 2025 Locorotondo Christmas took place from November 18, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with the official lighting of the illuminations on November 22 and markets active from November 30 in Piazza Aldo Moro, the municipal park, and the streets adjacent to the Town Hall (open 10:00–22:00, with evening extensions on weekends and holidays).

The program featured traditional 'bassa musica' from Molfetta and wandering bands in honor of Saint Cecilia, street performers from 'Emozioni in Piazza', the 'Libri nei vicoli del borgo' book festival, bagpipers, the Night of the Candles on December 13 in Piazza Aldo Moro and the Mother Church, the Locorotondo Prize, the Giant Tombola, and the Christmas Concert. Fixed installations included Santa's House at Via Alfieri 26 and a nativity scene exhibition in the Church of the Holy Spirit.

A major focus was placed on living nativity scenes: the 'Sotto Villa' scene organized by the San Giorgio Parish (December 27–28 and January 6) and the Masseria Serio scene by the San Marco Association (December 26, January 3 and 6). The festivities concluded on January 5 with the 'Gioco dell'Oca' (Goose Game) featuring the Befana.
