Locio Festival in Palaie

The 2025 edition of the Locio Festival confirmed the long-standing tradition of the event in the village of Palaie, in Pelago (FI). At the Casa del Popolo, over two weekends in March, volunteers served traditional dishes based on locio, the duck of Tuscan peasant tradition.

The menu featured classic duck tortelli, stewed locio, and grilled meat, enjoyed in good company within the covered spaces of the club. A heartfelt event that, year after year, attracts lovers of genuine cuisine from the Valdarno hills and the Florence area.
