Edition 2025 — Living Via Crucis

On April 16, 2025, the forty-first edition of the Living Via Crucis of Carlentini was celebrated. Promoted and coordinated by the Catholic Action of the Mother Church, the performance unfolded through the streets of the town, with the procession in the Mother Church and the crucifixion in Piazza Francesco Crispi, in front of the Carmine church. The fourteen stations alternated between Gospel readings, meditations, and hymns.

The 41st edition of the Living Via Crucis of Carlentini took place on April 16, 2025, confirming a consolidated tradition in the community. The performance, promoted and coordinated by the Catholic Action of the Mother Church, was led by president Stefania Breci, director Salvatore Calanni, and president of the Devotees Salvatore Fazio.

The procession wound through the town's streets, with the procession in the Mother Church and the crucifixion in Piazza Francesco Crispi, in front of the Carmine church. The fourteen stations included Gospel readings, meditations, and hymns. In the words of Father Salvatore Siena, the young people were the protagonists of this re-enactment of the Passion and death of Jesus, offering a testimony of intimate faith and spirituality.
