Edition 2025 — Living Via Crucis

The 41st edition of the Living Via Crucis of Roccapalumba was held on April 16, 2025, at 7:00 PM, with the final scene at the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Luce. The re-enactment retraced the stages of the life and Passion of Christ, with handcrafted sets and the participation of numerous children among the actors.

The 41st edition of the Living Via Crucis of Roccapalumba took place on April 16, 2025, at 7:00 PM, set at the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Luce, in the territory of the Municipality of Roccapalumba (Palermo).

The performance retraced the fundamental stages of the life of Jesus, from the forty days of temptation in the desert to the trial before the Sanhedrin and Pilate, and finally the Resurrection. The handcrafted sets and technical direction dedicated to the script and narration enhanced the characteristic and natural locations of the village. The involvement of children as actors was particularly significant. Admission was free.
