Edition 2025 — Living Via Crucis Raccuja

In 2025, the Living Via Crucis of Raccuja renewed its appointment during the Lenten period, consolidating itself as one of the most followed sacred re-enactments in the Nebrodi. In this edition as well, the community brought the Passion of Christ to the stage through the alleys of the historic center, with a moving procession involving numerous local participants.

The 2025 edition of the Living Via Crucis of Raccuja took place during the Lenten period, in the weeks leading up to Easter, confirming the itinerant format that characterizes the event. The performance, promoted by the Santa Maria di Gesù Parish with the collaboration of the Circolo Anspi and the patronage of the Municipality of Raccuja, re-proposed the stations of the Passion along the streets and squares of the medieval village in the Nebrodi.

As per tradition, the sacred performance combined faith and popular participation, involving citizens of all ages and attracting visitors from the surrounding area. The event represented a fundamental step in the journey that, in 2026, led the event to its fourth edition.
