Edition 2025 — Living Via Crucis

In 2025, the Living Via Crucis returned to Longi on the evening of Palm Sunday, confirming an appointment now deeply rooted in the Holy Week tradition of the Nebrodi village. Through the streets of the historic center, performers staged the Passion of Christ, with readings from the Gospels and period costumes, in a re-enactment promoted by the Municipality and the San Michele Arcangelo Parish.

In 2025, the Living Via Crucis once again enlivened the historic center of Longi, in the Messina Nebrodi, on the evening of Palm Sunday. The streets and squares of the village transformed into the setting for the Passion of Christ, interpreted by numerous costumed performers.

The re-enactment, accompanied by readings from the Gospels, confirmed the community's strong bond with this tradition, the result of the shared work of volunteers, the San Michele Arcangelo Parish, and the Municipality of Longi. A moment of reflection and collective participation that opened Holy Week in the town.
