Living Passion of Christ

The 13th edition of the Living Passion of Christ was held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, Palm Sunday, starting at 6:30 PM from Piazza Emanuela Loi, in the historic center of Santa Margherita di Belice.

Approximately 200 actors in historical costumes brought 23 dramatized scenes to life, retracing the final moments of Christ's life. The direction was entrusted to Santino Morreale, while the narration was provided by Onorio Abruzzo. The organization was handled by the cultural and religious association Il Sale della Terra, led by president Francesca Pisano, with the support of the SS Crocifisso Association. The event confirmed itself as one of the most deeply felt and well-attended appointments for the local community in the province of Agrigento.
