Living Nativity of San Damiano d'Asti

The 2025 edition of the Living Nativity of San Damiano d'Asti took place on December 7, 8, and 14, 2025, confirming its status as one of the most beloved events of the 'Il Magico Paese di Natale' circuit.

As per tradition, the re-enactment animated the Borgo dei Sutè, the streets of the center, and the historic underground cellars with hundreds of costumed performers, ancient trades, coin minting, and nativity scenes. On opening days, a free shuttle service was active between Asti and San Damiano.

The 'Il Magico Paese di Natale' circuit, of which the nativity is a part, closed the 2025 edition with about half a million visitors, earning a prestigious European recognition as one of the most beautiful and fairy-tale Christmas markets on the continent.
