Living Nativity of Fiumalbo

Christmas Eve 2025 inaugurated the biennial edition of the Living Nativity of Fiumalbo, in the historic village of the Modena Apennines. An afternoon snowfall enveloped the village streets, providing an exceptional setting for the reenactment. Over 200 participants, all residents, animated about 40 scenic tableaux: ancient mountain crafts — from stonemason to blacksmith — alongside scenes of the school of yesteryear, Roman soldiers, and the Nativity. The event, organized by the Committee for the Nativity Scene and Fiumalbo Events under the patronage of the Municipality, attracted hundreds of visitors, launching the cycle that continued on January 3 and 4.
