Living Nativity of Barbara

The 2024-2025 winter edition confirmed the vitality of one of the most cherished Christmas traditions in the Marche region. In the historic center of Barbara, in the Nevola Valley, over a hundred volunteer participants brought the Nativity and scenes of daily life from yesteryear to life along the usual itinerant theatrical route.

As per tradition, the performance began at 5:30 PM on the days between Christmas and Epiphany, with organization handled by the Pro Loco of Barbara, the Municipality, and local associations. An event that attracts numerous visitors to the Ancona hinterland each year.
