Edition 2025 — Acquarica Living Nativity
The third edition of the Acquarica Living Nativity opened its doors on the evening of December 25, 2024, with an evocative inaugural ceremony at 5:00 PM: the parish priest, accompanied by all the participants, blessed each scene along the route before the actors took their positions. The performance, with entrance from Via Pascoli (intersection with Via Coletta), involved over one hundred performers in more than twenty scenes, winding between the Medieval Castle and the Reed Museum up to the extraordinary underground olive mill where the Nativity was recreated. As per tradition, the Epiphany performance on January 6, 2025, was enriched by the arrival of the Three Wise Men. The event was organized by the San Carlo Borromeo Parish with the Pro Loco Acquarica del Capo APS and the Confraternity of Maria Assunta in Cielo.
