Living Nativity at the Castle of Carini

The 2024/2025 edition of the living nativity at the La Grua Talamanca Castle in Carini confirmed itself as one of the most appreciated Christmas events in the province of Palermo, with over a thousand visitors recorded during the opening days.

Within the walls of the Norman castle, the town's inhabitants brought to life the sacred representation of the Nativity and the reconstruction of ancient trades: from the fabric market to the washerwomen, from the carpenter to the blacksmith, to the housewife busy preparing traditional maccarruna.
