Edition 2025 — Cimitile Living Nativity

On December 26 and 27, 2025, the historic center and the Complex of Early Christian Basilicas of Cimitile hosted the Living Nativity and Street Artists Festival. From 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, costumed actors re-enacted the journey of Mary and Joseph through Bethlehem, the Roman camp, and Herod's palace, with ancient crafts, traditional flavors, and street performances. Free entry.

The 2025 edition of the Living Nativity and Street Artists Festival of Cimitile took place on the evenings of Friday, December 26, and Saturday, December 27, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with free admission. The historic center and the evocative Complex of Early Christian Basilicas were transformed into an open-air narrative path, with the ancient basilicas serving as the backdrop for the central scenes of the nativity.

Promoted by the Municipality of Cimitile together with the Amici del Presepe Vivente association and the Pro Loco, as part of the "Sei Borghi, Mille Storie" project funded by the Campania Region POC, the event combined religious re-enactment with ancient craft workshops, tastings of traditional flavors, and performances by the Street Artists Festival, featuring live music, dance, and shows in the alleys of the village in the province of Naples.
