Edition 2025 — Lights of Resilience
The 2025 edition of «Lights of Resilience» took place on Sunday, November 30, opening the Christmas season in the Franco-Provençal village of Celle di San Vito, in the province of Foggia. The day began in the morning with a walk to discover the woodland heritage of the Monti Dauni; at 5:30 PM, the simultaneous lighting of all the illuminations and the tree in front of the Town Hall took place.
The tree, in particular, was decorated with baubles depicting the faces of the ten newborns who came into the world in the village over the last ten years — a symbol of the determination of a community of just 142 inhabitants not to disappear. The lighting was followed by tastings of typical products, while throughout the holiday period, until January 6, the Santa Claus house, the market, the artistic nativity scene, and the distribution of panettone to families remained open. The event was promoted by the Municipality with the support of the Puglia Region and Puglia Promozione.
