Edition 2025 — Eraora

In 2025, Genoa celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Liberation with the traditional institutional program of parades, wreath-layings, and commemorative events in the historic center, before the birth of the widespread Eraora festival in 2026, which would reinvent how April 25th is experienced in the city.

In 2025, the Liberation celebrations in Genoa followed the usual institutional program for the 80th anniversary, with parades, wreath-layings, and commemorative events in the squares and symbolic places of the city's Resistance.

It was from the following year, in 2026, that Eraora took shape, the new widespread festival that transformed April 25th into a participatory cultural experience, marking a new season in how anti-fascist memory is celebrated in the city.
