Liberation Day Festival in Rubiera

The 2025 edition marked the 80th anniversary of Liberation, a milestone celebrated throughout Italy and with particular intensity in the lands of the Emilian Resistance. In Rubiera, in the province of Reggio Emilia, the Municipality, together with ANPI and Istoreco, offered a program of civil commemorations and cultural moments, with the official ceremony at the monuments to the fallen, the procession, and public readings of testimonies from Rubiera partisans. An occasion to reaffirm the values of freedom and democracy in remembrance of those who participated in the Liberation struggle.
