Edition 2025 — Liberation Day in Barone Canavese

In 2025, for the 80th Liberation Day Anniversary, Barone Canavese and Orio Canavese took part in the Canavese celebrations, including the "In Libera Piazza - April 25, 1945-2025" initiative in Ivrea, which brought together about thirty municipalities in the region to remember the Resistance and the values of freedom.

The 2025 edition coincided with the 80th Liberation Day Anniversary, a particularly significant milestone celebrated throughout the Canavese region. Barone Canavese and Orio Canavese were among the approximately thirty municipalities in the area that participated in the "In Libera Piazza - 25 aprile 1945-2025" initiative in Ivrea, alongside local commemorations featuring processions, wreath-laying ceremonies for the fallen, and moments of reflection dedicated to partisan memory.

The celebrations, free and open to the public, reaffirmed the strong bond between the municipality of Barone Canavese and the entire Piedmontese Canavese region with the values of the Resistance and anti-fascism.
